In January of 2002 a treatment center for healing the whole person spiritually, emotionally, and physically was born in Edmond. The vision for the center came from leadership of Henderson Hills Church and a 501c3 was formed called Ministries of Jesus. The center has treated over 5000 clients since inception all at no charge to the individual.
Staffed primarily by volunteers from the community the center provides counseling, recovery and medical services. Over 150 volunteer medical, counselors, recovery, and support personnel contribute time monthly to deliver free spirit, soul, and body health care.
Ministries of Jesus is entirely supported by contributions from the community and businesses. In the last year over 1.7 million dollars worth of free health care services were delivered on a budget of just under $400,000. Currently, a new 8000 ft2 facility is under construction on property provided by Henderson Hills Church at their I-35 and 15th street campus.
Ministries of Jesus also owns and operates Transformation Fitness Center, Transformation Recovery, and Transformation Christian Counseling Center who provide support services for the healthcare center. For more information or to donate or volunteer go to our website www.moj.com.
